one of my favourite things about the human body is how we physically and unconsciously align with our emotions. how we cry tears of joy and happiness because we’re so overwhelmed by our feelings that we’re physically unable to carry them within us. how our pupils dilate when we look at someone we love, to let in more light because i love you so much i want to see more of you. how our breath calms and our shoulders relax in the company of someone we feel safe with. how we tend to be sleepy around them because they bring us peace and filter out the chaos and noise of the world because i love you so much nothing else matters when im with you. how we have smile lines and wrinkles on the corner of our eyes as a permanent reminder of how happy they make us. how when we hug our hearts align and we have a heart on both sides because i love you so much you were what was missing from me. how your heart physically aches at the thought of losing them and the pain is that of an actual, bleeding wound if not worse. those hugs where your bodies fit together, like two pieces of a puzzle because i love you so much you complete me. how when your laying on someone, you can feel their heart beat faster and eventually both of you breathe in harmony with each other because i love you so much i want your soul to know mine. how our fingers interlock perfectly when you hold hands. how our heart races when they enter the room because i love you so much im no longer in control. i love you so much every cell in my body knows. man i love biology.
